What is a DMARC record?
A short TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain. It tells mail providers what to do with email that claims to be from you but fails the checks: deliver it, send it to spam or refuse it.
Why does DMARC matter?
Without it, anyone can send email that looks like it comes from your domain: fake invoices, payment requests and password resets that your customers trust.
Is the DMARC lookup free?
Yes. No sign-up and no card. It reads your domain's public DNS record, and nothing about you is stored.
